A new independent literature review published in the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare, Better one or two? A systematic review of portable automated refractors,” finds QuickSee the most accurate portable autorefractor for vision care providers considering practice adaptations to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

Research on QuickSee and other portable autorefractors was analyzed on a range of criteria including their agreement with subjective refraction.

The authors noted, “QuickSee was the most accurate of the portable devices reviewed. It was included in the highest methodological studies, and it performed clinically the same as SR in some reports.”
